Once I broke out into the world of sewing, I was so excited to discover that there were other fabric stores out there besides my local one around the corner (I think you know the one I'm talking about). ;)
I thought I was just limited to cat prints and solids. Don't get me wrong, I have found some fab prints at the "local" stores but there are sometimes when I just crave working with a herringbone; chevron, or Japanese import print.
I've been asked quite often: "where do you get that fabric?"
Well today I'm going to tell you! :)
I'm sharing my Top 5 favorite online fabric stores.
Here is my list:
1. Fabric.com
Why I love it: when you visit this site for the first time, it may be a little overwhelming but if you know exactly what you are looking for, you will most likely find it. I love the plethora of Michael Miller, Amy Butler, Premier and Moda prints on here. Type any fabric designer into their search box and you might be surprised.
2. Harts Fabric
Why I love it: japanese import fabric...enough said. :) The only thing I'm not a huge fan about Harts, is that you can't order less than a yard unless you order by phone. Not a huge deal but if you like to buy things quickly like I do, then this is a tiny setback.
Why I love it: This place is so hip! They always have all the latest and greatest designer fabrics. I love how this site is organized. Its easy to find exactly what you are looking for quickly.
Why I love it: I am so impressed with this site! You can order as little or as much as you want! I love the prices and the shipping is so inexpensive. Huge fan. :)
5. Spoonflower
Why I love it: I haven't used Spoonflower yet but I had to put it on my top list because I totally plan to! :) This fabric store is so cool! You can create your own design and have it printed on fabric! How awesome is that?! I have to try this!
These are my go to online fabric stores but I know there so many others out there and I would love to hear all your favorites! :)
Love, Sierra
