Meet...

Hippity and Hop:

Here's the how to:

1. Find a cute little bunny template and cut out

2. Trace your bunny template onto your fabric (2 pieces right sides together)

3. Pin and sew around your traced bunny shape leaving a 2 inch gap in the tail area

4. Turn right side out and press with an iron

5. Stuff with poly fil

6.  Hand sew gap shut

I found a great tutorial for a sweet little fluffy yarn tail here :)

I hand stamped "Hippity" and "Hop" onto some scraps of canvas and hot glued them onto each of the bunnies bodies.

I really love how they turned out!

They now live on my springy shelf!

I think they rather like it there...

Happy Crafting!

Ballerina Bunny

I just love this time of year! Babies are being born left and right and there are always lots and lots of birthdays! :) And I love birthdays and births because I get to give away my stuffies! I love picturing them being squeezed and loved for a long time and I think that is my favorite part of the process.

A sweet little girl had her birthday in January but because I was traveling and such, I wasn't able to give her gift to her until a couple of days ago. Her dear mother is a good friend of mine and her little girl is a ballerina.

So naturally I thought this sweet stuffed bunny was appropriate...

I was happy to find out that the little Miss this ballerina bunny went to loves pink! How did I know that?! ;)

Her eyes and nose are hand embroidered. She even has a pretty little headband.

And no ballerina bunny would be complete without her tutu and ballet slippers. :)

I hope you lovelies are having a pleasant day!

Love, Sierra
