End Table Turned Chalkboard

A couple months ago, we picked up some "temporary furniture." You know, the furniture you buy really cheap so you can get by before you get your "actual" furniture out of storage. One piece of our temporary furniture was this little end table from IKEA:

Its called "Lack" and you can find it HERE. I mean $10!! I was trying to figure out what to do with the thing and it came to me! While I was on Pinterest of course! HERE was my original inspiration.

I taped around the edges of the table and spray painted 2 coats of chalkboard paint on the top. :)

 P.S. this "Mala" chalk from Ikea is awesome! So much better than grocery store chalk, I'm telling ya!

This morning E colored on her chalkboard to her little heart's content. She called it "chalkolate." :)
