Waterless Snowglobe

After swooning over these pretty snowglobes from Anthropologie for far too long...

I decided to try my hand at making some...

They are so easy to make!

I think I may have bought AC Moore out of their bottle brush trees though...oops! ;)

I love the look of the green trees, but I also adore the white vintage bottle brush trees as well.  However they are very expensive and difficult to find so I made my own. I filled up a cup full of bleach and soaked the trees in it for about 10 minutes.

I then soaked the trees in a bowl of water to rinse off the bleach.

I picked up some mason jars, used some of my leftover vintage zinc mason jar lids and hot glued the trees onto them and filled the jar up with glitter "snow" from the craft store.

See so simple!

They were so fun to make! Here's how they turned out...

Wouldn't these make great gifts?!

Happy Monday!! :)
