For The Love Of Spools!

My mother and I share a great love of antiques and vintage finds and when she saw some vintage wooden spools in a local antique shop, she thought of me and I am so very happy. They don't even make wooden spools anymore and its such a shame because there is something very beautiful about them. My dear mother shipped them out to me and I knew just right where to put them...

I am just amazed at how much the price of thread has gone up over the years. I had to laugh when I read the cost of one of these spools was 35 cents. If only...if only.
