Gingercake Holiday Sewing Series: Lulu Llama Pattern

I can't believe there's only a few weeks left until Christmas! Each year I try to make at least one handmade gift for each of my children. I know they only have a few years of snuggling the stuffed toys and dolls I make them before they "grow up." 😭 I hope its something special they can hold onto to remind them of when they were little.

This year, I was thrilled when Virginia asked me if I would like to be apart of her Gingercake Holiday Sewing series. Yes please! Her patterns are absolutely adorable and so easy to follow!

I had been eyeing her newest Lulu Llama pattern for a while now so I decided to sew 3 of them up for Christmas! We have an alpaca breeder down the road from us and while they aren't llamas, the kids always see them and get super excited as we head into town, so I know they will be stoked to get these cute Llamas on Christmas morning. 😂

This was such a fun sew! It's perfect for a beginner but also fun for a more advanced sewist or doll maker to get creative with.

I let my littles pick out their favorite fabrics (they didn't know what they were picking it out for though 😉) and then added some more traditional elements of decorated llamas in there too.

I was also able to pick up the faux fur on sale for 40% off at JoAnns and used my 20% off coupon on top of that so it made these very affordable. So keep your eyes open 👀 for sales too.

If you'd like to make your own adorable llama this Christmas, you can snag the Lulu Llama pattern HERE for only $5!! ☺️🙌🏻

And hurry over HERE and enter to win: A set of 7 Dritz tools, a pattern from Sewpony and a lovely Fat Quarter bundle from Llama Fabrics over at Gingercake this week!!
