New Vintage Treasures

My parents and sister came up to visit the day after Christmas and stayed with us for a few days. Last visit we weren't able to visit Lucketts, an whimsical little antique store in Virginia, so I knew this had to be the first place we went on our agenda this visit.

We took Miss E with us and I was presently surprised that she did rather well! She actually enjoyed looking at all the treasures and didn't break anything. She collected some from each room in the old house. :) It was sweet to watch her be so gentle while touching everything, like she already knew it was special.  Every room she went through, she would exclaim: "Oooh I like this one!" or "That is soooo beautiful!" I was delighted at her excitement and I was able to pick up a few treasures:

I picked up this snazzy basket which I adore! I've been looking for one for a while and I loved how the turquoise matched my decor perfectly! :)

I found these adorable little vintage ballerina cupcake and cake toppers at the Beekeeper's Cottage which is literally right next door to Lucketts. I just thought they were so unique and whimsical! I'm thinking ballerina party for Miss E's 3rd birthday party. :)

My sweet mother also gave me this absolutely gorgeous vintage wooden oval frame to go on my gallery wall in my family room and I love everything about it:

ahhh....I love that chippiness! I can't wait to put it on my wall! I also can't wait to show you another gallery wall project I gave my hubby for Christmas, but that is another project for another post...

Happy Crafting!! :)
