Oh Dear!

I'm so excited to share my first Christmas craft tutorial with you today! :)

I am such a huge fan of the Etsy shop Oh Fiddlesticks! So when I saw this adorable shirt in their shop:

I just had to recreate the idea in some sort of Christmas decoration for my home! If you haven't seen their shop yet, you should definitely head over there! Its filled with absolutely adorable kids shirts!

To make this project...

You Will Need:

*Scrap of Fabric- can have a pattern or solid
*Embroidery Floss
*Wool Felt
*Baker's twine (optional)
*Small letter stamp set
*Ink pad
*Deer template
*Wooden Embroidery hoop

Step 1: Print your deer template leaving yourself some extra room around it to cut

Step 2: Pin your template to your piece of scrap fabric

Step 3: Cut out your deer

Step 4: Stamp: "Oh Dear." onto your deer

Step 5: Cut a piece of wool felt big enough to fit in your embroidery hoop

Step 6: Hot glue your deer onto the felt

Step 7: Put your felt piece into the embroidery hoop

Step 8: Glue the edges of the felt down on the back side of the embroidery hoop

Step 9: If you want to add a little something around the boarder, take your embroidery floss and add a little running stitch around the edges.
I finished the deer of with a little bakers twine bow...

And your finished!

I hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving this week! :)
