Pottery Barn Kids Inspired Project

I'm so excited today to share with you a project or rather some "projects" I've been working on for a few days. As you already know, my daughter E inspires quite a few of my crafts. She's wonderful inspiration! :) One day she was sitting with me while I was on Pinterest and she saw this pin...

She squealed and pointed to it with delight shouting: "Owl!" "Owl!" Of course they are Pottery Barn Kids owls and no offense to Pottery Barn, I love you but I can't justify spending $30 on one of your adorable owls when I can make them for less. :) So I made my own version:

She's a lot more retro looking than the original Pottery Barn owl but I just love that fabric! :) To say E was thrilled was an understatement, she squeezed the owl so tight she was shaking and she kept repeating she loved it over and over again. I'm a happy mommy. ;) I enjoyed making this one for E so much, I made a few more...

My niece's birthday was last month and we were moving at the time so I made her an owl too, along with a sweet little card to tie on its leg...

Stay tuned...I may or may not be giving one of these little cuties away soon...

Happy Crafting! :)

I LOVE these owls!! I love any owl, but these are adorable!!! If I have a girl, her entire nursery is going to be owl themed, so I'll definitely have to learn how to make some of these! Love the fabric you chose too, you have a good eye :)
